Rent-to-own News - RAE 'Best of Show' Winners Announced
The Association of Progressive Rental Organizations today announced its first ever "Best of Show" winners in the association's annual Rental Advertising Excellence competition.
The two winning "Best of Show" ads -- a first ever designation to commemorate APRO's 30th Anniversary -- were selected from the 26 in-house and agency produced ad materials that had already earned the RAE gold designation and are as follows and include RAE Judge Matt Belew's comments: Best of Show -- In-House Production: Quality Rentals: TV ad production costing more than $1,000 "While it is not flashy or slick, the spot does a very good job of communicating to an audience that might be facing difficult times. In today's economy, a lot of people are facing increasingly more difficult economic situations. Quality Rentals does an excellent job of "addressing" these issues and of providing a "solution" to help the customer get through their challenging situation. Simple production, very meaningful message -- nice execution."
Best of Show -- Agency Produced: Buddy's Home Furnishings: In store signs posters and banners "Wonderful series of posters with excellent photography illustrating how the products impact lives byond their original intended purpose. Without being overly emotional or sappy, the posters capture moments in our lives that are enhanced by Buddy's products and services. Each poster has a story. These stories that each poster presents and implies show how Buddy's can be a part of them and make this very well done advertising." Congratulations to all RAE winners!
