Rent-to-own News - TRIB Group convention kicks off this weekend with record attendance

The 2011 TRIB Group Annual Convention & Buy Fair begins this weekend, February 20-22, 2011 at the beautiful Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. Member attendance is at record-breaking levels with over 100 rent to own companies being represented. Attendance from the over 100 companies will represent 3,300 store fronts from 37 states and 2 Caribbean islands.

The record breaking attendance is attributed to the change of host city and venue. Orlando, Florida is a favorite destination and the Marriott World Center boasts 2,000 rooms and a world-class convention center attached.

This year’s theme urges members and vendors alike to experience the "Magic at the Summit". The magic kicks off on Sunday with the 2011 Tom C. Kitchens Annual Golf Outing, sponsored by Whirlpool and open to all TRIB Group members and vendors. This year’s golf outing will be a fundraiser for TRIB Group and Brand Source’s preferred charity, The Ronald McDonald House. 

Sunday’s activities will also include a vendor meeting and the ever-popular "Hot Show".
 
With exceptional deals and pricing, this is a must-attend event. The action is fast, exciting and rewarding for those serious about saving money. Following the "Hotshow"  is a fantastic welcome reception for all the attendees.
Monday begins with a membership meeting where dealers will receive their much anticipated 2010 rebate checks, followed by a membership luncheon and the opening of the buy fair. Tuesday’s events will also include buy fair time as well as the election of three TRIB Group Board of Director seats.

On the final night of the convention, all members and vendors will be shuttled to Polk City, home of the Fantasy of Flight Museum. The stunning art deco facility features over 40 rare and vintage aircraft. The reception and dinner will take place in the main hangar, amid timeless and classic aircraft. Before departing the event, attendees will be treated to the Starfire Night Sky Show, a fully restored WWII plane loaded with pyrotechnics and choreographed to music.
 
The Rental Industry Buying Group (TRIB Group) was established in 1983 and is currently the largest member-owned buying cooperative in the nation specifically for the RTO industry. TRIB Group’s membership is currently 151 member companies representing over 3,000 storefronts nationwide and is proud to be a strategic alliance partner with AVB/Brand Source.
