John Cleek Jr.'s annual "Bowling for Autism" event kicks off April 9 at AMF Town and Country Lanes in Columbia, Missouri.

The successful program, which has already raised more than $150,000 over the past seven years, will continue to raise money for TouchPoint Autism Services (formerly Judevine) which offers services and support to families with members diagnosed with Autism. Watch promo.

The TouchPoint Autism Services offers a full range of services and supports to children and adults with autism and their families including specialized parent training, evaluations and assessments and residential services.

This year, as with years past, the event is expected to sell out with 140 bowlers expected.

"This year one in 100 children will be diagnosed with autism," Cleek said. "This is something more and more families are dealing with and services like those offered by TouchPoint really are making a difference in their lives."

Cleek's son Thomas was diagnosed with a mild form of autism at age two.

Who Is Your Competition?

by Bill Keese

In order to expand your customer base, you can learn a lot by observing your competitors. But first, you need to figure out just who they are. by Ed Winn III
