Rent-to-own News - APRO VENDOR FOCUS: A-America offers fashion forward looks at attractive prices
August 6, 2008
High quality furniture at low prices, that's the philosophy that drives the 34-year old A-America company.
A-America is a first year APRO vendor at the APRO 2008 Convention and Buying Show at the America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri August 11-14.
The family owned company, is known for its solid wood imports, especially its casual dining and bedroom furniture sets, according to Larne O'Toole, key account representative for A-America.

The high quality construction -- solid Oak, Hickory or even Mango -- is evident in the dovetail, corner-blocked drawers, euro-glide and wood on wood slide systems. Many items feature built-in grommets to accommodate the cords and connections of today's modern gadgetry.
"The RTO customer still wants what the mainstream customer wants but at a good price," O'Toole says. "We offer fresh, fashion forward looks with more price to value than some of our competition."
A-America's original products were focused in value priced solid oak tables and chairs and rockers. But over the years, the company has extended its offerings to include formal dining room, bedroom, youth bedroom and home office sets.
A-America is an industry leader in casual dining category, and today, the company has evolved from the original nostalgic solid oak tables and chairs to include many other wood species, fashion forward finishes and styles, while staying true to its "30 percent over-built & 30 percent under priced" standard.
A-America is one of 86 vendors attending the APRO 2008 Convention and Buying Show. A-America will be exhibiting in Exhibit Hall 1 at the America's Center, booth 216.
