Rent-to-own News - APRO VENDOR FOCUS: Catnapper recliners combine form and function

August 6, 2008

Jackson Furniture major accounts vice president Don Hunter hopes his Catnapper line of reclining furniture catches on with rent-to-own dealers as much for its durability as for it's comfort.

Catnapper is one of 20 new vendors attending the APRO 2008 Convention and Buying Show at the America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri August 11-14.

And while Hunter hopes Catnapper's stylish good looks may entice the 450 dealers at the show, he says Catnapper's unique durable construction will seal the deal.

"The number one reason you buy a reclining product is for the comfort," Hunter says. "It's an added benefit that we offer steel seat boxes that would hold up better in the field. Our goals is to provide the rent-to-own industry a problem free product."

The all steel seat boxes -- which have been included in all Catnapper recliners for the last five years -- give Catnapper furniture the longevity to survive 1,000's of reclines and many many rentals and returns, Hunter says.

Catnapper recliners also come with a number of optional features including heat and massage features and power lift and swivel action.

"APRO is a great organization," Hunter says. "Our goal is to open up more and more of APRO's rent-to-own members and win them over with our products."

Jackson Furniture, based in Cleveland, TN, is the parent company of Catnapper and has been in business for 75 years.

Catnapper is one of 86 vendors attending the APRO 2008 Convention and Buying Show. Catnapper will be exhibiting in Exhibit Hall 1 at the America's Center, Booth 403.
