Rent-to-own News - New Age Electronics now providing computers to rent-to-own dealers

May 21, 2008

New Age Electronics announced Tuesday it is now distributing Acer desktop and notebook computers to rent-to-own retailers nationwide, including the popular Acer brand Gateway and eMachines models.

As a result of New Age’s recent merger with SYNNEX Corporation, the company is now positioned to supply rental-purchase businesses with 11 different Acer, Gateway and eMachines desktop models, and 13 notebook models to help meet every retailer market niche and price point.

As the fastest growing U.S. computer manufacturer, Acer and its family of brands provide New Age and its rent-to-own customers a complete product line geared to meet every unique end user need from a pricing, functionality and brand recognition standpoint.

The merger with SYNNEX also enables New Age to fulfill Acer product orders from an increased number of regional warehouse locations across the country. Rental-purchase retailers will benefit from reduced costs and faster times to market via daily and weekly ground shipping options, as well as convenient will call pick-up services.

Additionally, New Age encourages rent-to-own retailers to inquire into product bundle options, which can be customized to include popular computer accessories and peripherals that provide additional value to end users, while helping further increase margins.

New Age Electronics, a division of SYNNEX Corporation, is a sales and supply chain solutions innovator that provides consumer technology (CT) manufacturers with a broad offering of logistics, distribution and remanufacturing services.
