Having made a career of expanding such companies as Rent-A-Center and saving struggling companies like EZCORP, Bloom took the helm of the industry's oldest rent-to-own franchise company in 2004.

ColorTyme now claims 213 storefronts -- 76 of which are franchises -- in addition to it's growing wheel and tire division, RimTyme.

In this exclusive APRO podcast, Bloom discusses why his franchisees are his company's greatest asset, the lucrative wheel and tire market and the dynamics that will continue to keep ColorTyme viable into the 21st century.

"We've transitioned from a 300 plus chain with several large franchisees," Bloom says. "where today, we only have two franchisees with over 20 stores. "We have a lot of franchisees with only one store and those franchisees are our future. That's going to be where we're going to see the growth."
