In this exclusive APRO podcast, Rogers describes the genesis behind new enhancements the company is rolling out to clients this week at the High Touch Users Conference in Wichita, Kansas.

"Sales and marketing", "wheel and tire features" and the "lifetime reinstatement feature" are three new enhancements High Touch has developed for its rent-to-own clients to help them more efficiently manage data in the workplace.

In the past, the rent-to-own POS system was mostly an "efficient inventory management system", Rogers says. Now with the introduction of the "sales and marketing" feature, the shift is toward using data collected at the counter to promote sales, not just inventory management.

Rogers also describes the addition of five new account managers to the High Touch staff who will keep close tabs on dealers to more efficiently meet their needs.

"Our account managers spend time behind the counter at the rental dealer's location seeing how the product is being used," Rogers says, "observing how the reports are run and how the software is being used. That kind of information coming back to High Touch is invaluable."
