Rent-to-own News - NEW PODCAST: Mike Tissot, High Touch guest presenter

Mike Tissot, owner of Countryside Rentals, has been a High Touch user for over a decade. He's a hands on owner, and over the years has developed an in-depth understanding of various aspects of High Touch's software package.

Tissot was one of around a half dozen High Touch Users asked to participate as a co-presenter during the 2008 High Touch Users Conference in Wichita, Kansas.

He helped lead a reports forum and a session on "miscellaneous enhancements" covering tools that have been added to the software package over the last year.

Tissot was also part of a group of dealers consulted by High Touch last year as the company completed plans for its multi-million dollar "modernization" campaign that will take place over the next five years.

In this exclusive APRO podcast, Tissot shares some of his impressions of the conference, new HIgh Touch enhancement and modernization efforts and how those changes will affect the rent-to-own dealer in the future.

"I really think they've wrapped they're hands around ways to make our system better today as well as getting us prepared for two to three years down the road," Tissot says. "There's so much data to mine. Learning to mine that data is something that comes from sitting down with a group of people who are doing it differently in these open forums. Luckily we are in an industry where people aren't afraid to do that."
