Chris Bolin, owns two Bolin Rental Purchase stores, one in Kentucky and one in Nashville.

Consequently he is active in both state associations, serving as president of the Kentucky Rental Dealers Association and vice president of the Tennessee Rental Dealers Association.

In this exclusive APRO podcast, Bolin shares his thoughts on the recently concluded TRDA annual conference in Nashville. Bolin discusses ways to recruit new members and keep the association active and viable in an RTO friendly business climate.

Bolin also discusses his grassroots campaign to convince U.S. Sen. Bob Corker, D-TN, to co-sponsor industry supported legislation in the Senate. Corker is a member of the Senate Banking Committee which will hold hearings on the pending bill, S. 1012.

"We've got a great bunch of dealers here in Tennessee," Bolin said. "But there's very little government intervention here, its a good business climate and sometimes they tend to get complacent. Overall, we had a great conference with great vendor participation and some great information given out in our seminars."
