David P. David, vice president and general manager of Full-O-Pep/American Rental, began his career with the company as a manager in 1981. He took over as general manager in 1987 when company owner Jim Hammond retired. The company's 12 stores did both retail and rent-to-own back then, but David was convinced RTO should be the company's primary focus.

Here, David discusses vendor fatigue and how American Rental makes it as easy as possible for vendors to attend the company's annual tradeshow.
