Hollywood at Your Fingertips with Rent to Own Electronics

With the NFL Superbowl championship set to take place in Peoria, Arizona on February 3rd, 2008, we have seen a dramatic increase in our big screen television rentals. Over the years, Superbowl parties in the Unites States have become a staple of Americana much like apple pie and fireworks on the forth of July. Aside from the bragging rights as Superbowl Champions, many fans also tune in to see the first run of some of the most ingenious commercials and movie trailers for the upcoming year. Companies spend millions of dollars for a few precious seconds of air, and the creative minds behind the commercials spend months preparing for this brief moment. Many of our customers who rent televisions for the big day compare the experience to the excitement of watching a new movie release at their local cinema. We also have found that many of our customers, who originally intended to rent the television for a short time frame, in the end, opt to purchase the television for year round enjoyment.

After the excitement of the Superbowl festivities dies down in the southwestern corner of the United States, to the west, another iconic American tradition begins to take shape. The 80th annual Academy Awards is scheduled to air on Sunday, February 24th, 2008. Renting big screen televisions is no longer exclusive to lone sports fanatics; movie lovers are also opting to rent large television sets to view their favorite celebrities in a larger than life form. Customers tell us that watching the stars of their favorite action movies, comedy movies, and drama movies on the big screen and in the comfort of their own home is equal to having their own seat in the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood and Highland. The awards show also has something to offer early riser: the ability to record the show. Customers don't have to worry about falling asleep and missing the chance to see their favorite stars' acceptance speeches. With VCR and DVD recorders, the big winners, who are usually announced at the end of the show, can be recorded for customers to watch and enjoy over and over again at their own leisure. Last year, aiming to create a life-like Oscar party, some of our movie loving customers also went as far to recreate some of the post-show celebrities dishes. These included menus offered at Oscar after party hot spots such as the Vanity Fair party at Morton's.

Whether you're tuning in for the big game or for the red carpet views of your favorite coiffed stars, tuning in on the big screen will be a long lasting memory for you and your party guests. Don't be surprised if you like it so much that you decide to purchase the rental at a later date. You certainly wouldn't be the first.
